Eligibility
Open to all native and non-native speakers with good written and spoken English. Applicants should be 17 years or older with a good standard of education or significant life experience. Please note that to teach English legally in Korea and certain other countries; you will also need a degree.
Grading and Assessment
The course is graded by continuous assessment.
Typical tasks include reviewing/researching materials, suggesting ideas for lessons, planning classroom layout, examining why we use pair work in the classroom or writing a lesson plan to practice the skill of reading, for example. Each section is carefully explained and you have unlimited tutorial support as you progress. There are a variety of short and longer tasks with more in-depth questions and an exam question at the end of the final module. In this way, we make sure you have gained the necessary expertise in each area.
How it Works
After you have enrolled, we email you the answer booklets and a password for easy download of the study booklets from our website. When complete, you simply email your answer booklet to us for marking and grading by your tutor. For a complete module by module list of course contents, click here.
Course Duration
This course takes around 70 hours to complete. Course duration is typically 1-3 months although you set the pace of your studies. 6 months is the maximum duration, but this is extendable, if required, for a small extra fee.
