Standard Contract Terms

Contracts in Korea come in all colors, shapes and sizes and and only a few terms are actually required by Korean Labor Law. However, the conditions listed in this section are commonly included in any teaching contract today, and if any are absent, such as accommodations, teachers can logically expect to be compensated in some way for that missing item, usually in the form of higher salary.

More than that, however, PlanetESL makes certain that employers are fair with the benefits they provide and working conditions they require and will always act in the best interest of our teachers when negotiating contract terms. We have been in your shoes before, and know what is like to be unsure of just what benefits you should be getting, and if the ones you are getting are fair. With PlanetESL, you can trust that you are getting more than a fair shake; you are getting the best that we can get for you, because we simply won¡¯t accept anything less.
